Armenian news outlet Panorama.am interviewed recently Prof Ashot Piliposyan, co-director of the Armenian-Polish archaeological mission, who talked about the fruitful cooperation between Armenian and Polish archaeologists at Metsamor in the past years. He highlighted the extremely successful season in 2016, paying special attention to the necklace found within the settlement and the many beads unearthed in the cemetery. The future plans and possibilities in collaboration for the two parties were also discussed along with the reasons and potentials of the increased presence of Polish archaeologists in the region.
