The yearly „Poles in the Near East” conference, organised by the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology, was held on the 25-26th May at the Institute of Archaeology, University of Warsaw. On the second day, three of our team members were presenting their work in Metsamor during the session dedicated to projects in the Caucasus region. The first speech was given by Marek Truszkowski and Otto Bagi on the process and results of the aerial survey of the necropolis that was carried out during the 2016 season. While Mateusz Iskra discussed in the following talk the position of craftsmen in the communities of the Lchashen-Metsamor culture. The team would like to thank everyone who attended the event and we are looking forward to see you in the future on other symposiums showcasing the work of the mission.
